WHAT IS A DELEGATE?

An OwlThon Delegate is the key to a student organization’s team success. As a Delegate, you are the link between OwlThon’s steering committee and your organization. It is your responsibility as a Delegate to attend ALL Delegate meetings and relay any important updates and information to your respective organization. This provides efficiency in communication between the OwlThon Overall Team and all the student organization’s members who are interested in participating in the marathon itself. OwlThon is the premiere philanthropy at Florida Atlantic University thanks to the help of the student organizations that participate. Without OwlThon Delegates, organizations would not be able to communicate as efficiently and participate as actively, all making a huge difference in many children’s lives.
